Fondation Sainte-Anne

On January 12, 1992, Collège Sainte-Anne registered Fondation Villa Anna as a non-profit organization to help the school fulfill its educational mission and programs. In 2015, it is renamed Fondation Sainte-Anne inc. Throughout the year, Fondation Sainte-Anne organizes fundraising activities so it can offer scholarships to current and future students at Sainte-Anne.

Role

Dedicated to fostering the well-being of students and to providing them with a quality learning experience and education, the Fondation (now called Fondation Sainte-Anne Inc.) administers a program of annual financial assistance for students whose parents have difficulty paying their tuition fees.

Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to students meeting eligibility requirements set by the Fondation’s Board of Directors following careful examination of the parents’ financial situation. This program ensures that the Collège is accessible to all students, regardless of their social background.

Banquet

The Foundation organised his All-White Dinner at the Royal Montreal Golf Club.

In 1896, this prestigious golf club left its original site in Mount Royal Park for new surroundings in Dorval, where its facilities would go on to house Queen of Angels Academy starting in 1959 and are now home to Sainte-Anne Academy.

With $76,000 in net revenue, this was the Foundation’s most successful fundraising event to date. Our sincere appreciation goes out to all the parents and friends who participated. We would also like to mention that the online auction was made possible by the invaluable support of our official partner, Projexia.

The annual draw

The annual draw for the Fondation Sainte-Anne took place on Friday, March 31st. The Foudation sold 211 tickets for total revenues of $ 21,100 (33 more tickets than last year!). Trek with the Executive Director

Twelve adventurers will join the CEO of Sainte-Anne to discover the Sea of Cortes in Lower California. During the ten-day expedition, they will kayak in the Loreto National Marine Park area. This latest adventure will ensure the growth of the Sainte-Anne Innovation Fund, which enables teachers at our three levels of instruction to carry out innovative educational projects.

Message from the Foundation director

The Foundation is also a network of alumni, parents, staff members and teachers who care about the Sainte-Anne family. Every fundraising event is a time for connection and solidarity aimed at giving as many young people as possible the chance to attend a creative, globally connected school through the granting of scholarships.

Banquet Sainte-Anne

The Annual Banquet was organised at the Royal Montreal Golf Club. With $76,000 in net revenue, this was the Foundation’s most successful fundraising event to date. Our sincere appreciation goes out to all the parents and friends who participated.

Cocktail des amis

On September 7, 2016, 70 people attended the cocktail at the Forest & Stream Club in Dorval. Once again this year, this annual event was held at the start of the school year. A total of $31,400 was raised for the Foundation.

10 November 2016

Dancing party

The first edition of Danse & Bulles can be qualified as a great success. The 175 guests danced the night away to the rhythms of the DJ, networked throughout the evening and got to know Sainte-Anne staff members.

Volunteers and Sainte-Anne alumni did their part for this wonderful evening by providing the service for the guests. The event raised $18,500, which will be put towards the financial assistance grants.

Every year, Fondation Sainte-Anne organizes a raffle in support of financial assistance scholarships and innovative projects at our three schools.

The Foudation sold 211 tickets for total revenues of $ 21,100. Thanks to all the participants!

Sea kayaking

Twelve adventurers will join the CEO of Sainte-Anne to discover the Sea of Cortes in Lower California. During the ten-day expedition, they will kayak in the Loreto National Marine Park area. This latest adventure will ensure the growth of the Sainte-Anne Innovation Fund, which enables teachers at our three levels of instruction to carry out innovative educational projects.

In October 2016, participants took part in a fundraising trek to reach the legendary peak of Machu Picchu! The expedition raised $98,000!
