Sainte-Anne summer camp: New opportunities to develop creativity and leadership

Montréal, February 8, 2018 – Sainte-Anne’s bilingual summer camp is expanding its program with the addition of a new technology-based arts camp, two more arts options (photography and ceramics) for children aged 8 to 12, and a young investors club for the 11 to 14 age group.

These new options are on top of the already popular Camp des Aventuriers (5 to 7 years of age) and several camps for 8 to 12 year olds featuring science, cooking, sports and artistic themes.

“Camp Sainte-Anne offers a unique series of specialized programs led by experts in their field. Young people are encouraged to broaden their horizons as they engage in exciting activities. We are also pleased to provide access to outstanding sports, science and arts facilities within a safe and stimulating environment,” explains Serge Servant, Coordinator of Camp Sainte-Anne.

Camp des Aventuriers (5–7 year olds): Theme weeks and an exciting program!

Divided into three groups by age, Camp des Aventuriers provides programming tailored to each group. Each week is organized around a theme (such as the circus, a safari, space or the Olympics) and includes a field trip.

Camp Relève (8–12 year olds): Challenge yourself!

The Sainte-Anne team has devised a series of unforgettable experiences for campers aged 8 to 12. For half of each day, campers enjoy a wide range of activities putting everyone’s skills to the test. The rest of the day? Each participant focuses on a favourite activity led by a specialist. Activities include:

  • Acrobatik (cheerleading, trampoline, dance, gymnastics, yoga…)
  • Aquatik (diving, swimming, underwater hockey…)
  • Artistico (new: photography and ceramics have been added to the existing program of visual and digital arts, theatre and improvisation!)
  • Technology-based arts (interactive creation, intuitive interfaces, video game design, 3D animation…)
  • Bouge-toi (cosom hockey, flag football, baseball, rock climbing, soccer…)
  • Chic chic (fashion and style)
  • Miam miam (culinary arts)
  • Robotique (robotics)
  • Scientifiquement vôtre (experiments, engine building, robotics and molecular cuisine)
  • Vent dans les voiles (outdoor and water sports, including kayaking, sailing, rafting, paddleboarding…)

Camp Entrepreneuriat (11–14 year olds): Stand out!

Held from July 2 to 6, Camp Entrepreneuriat allows budding young entrepreneurs to work on bold projects, experience enriching encounters, develop their communication skills and hone their technical and hi-tech abilities. The Club des jeunes investisseurs offers young people a week-long initiation into the world of finance and investment.
