Highly recognized teaching institution Collège Sainte-Anne invites youths aged 13 to 17 to experience French or English language immersion. Located on the shores on the Saint Lawrence Seaway and the Lachine canal bike path, which leads to the heart of Montréal, the Sainte-Anne campus welcomes students from around the world.

Coming to learn English or French at Collège Sainte-Anne in the summer of 2017 is also a chance to celebrate the 375th anniversary of Montréal, a bilingual metropolis that constantly offers cultural and original activities. Our language stays, which last from one to five weeks, will run from Sunday July 2 to Saturday August 5, 2017 and offer the opportunity to improve in French or English. The students at our camp will have plenty to do this summer! They will develop solid language skills in a warm atmosphere complemented by cultural exchanges that will enrich this experience.
The summer program is open to international students, as well as Quebec students wishing to learn English or French.
Stays of one to five weeks in French or in English
15 hours of teaching and educational activities per week

Cultural and sports activities (for example kayaking, sailing, rafting, historic rallying, climbing, museum touring)
Discovery field trips (festivals, La Ronde, Old Montreal, fireworks, day trip to Québec City or Ottawa)

Collège Sainte-Anne is recognized for its quality instruction and active teaching that puts students at the heart of their learning. Our French and English immersion program offers its students a safe, fun and enjoyable learning environment to help them develop and acquire a strong ability to communicate in French or English. In addition to pedagogical activities, students will receive 15 hours of formal instruction per week. French and English as a second language lessons are offered at various levels.

In addition to our high-level language classes, our language stay program is proud to include as part of its programming the most popular excursions and field trips in Québec. We firmly believe that participating in such activities will help improve students’ ability to describe the geographic and cultural features of the Montréal area.
Each week of participation in our English or French camp includes:
1 full-day cultural excursion (e.g., guided tour of Ottawa)
1 full-day field trip (e.g., Montréal Biodôme and Planetarium)
1 cultural evening and 1 dinner at a downtown Montréal restaurant
1 half-day language immersion excursion (e.g., Montréal Jazz Fest)
The language immersion program offers students a wide variety of cultural and sports activities. Under the constant supervision of energetic and experienced leaders, these free leisure activities will take place in the afternoon, in the evening or on the weekend.

Expenses to plan for during stays

Once participants begin their stay, they will have the opportunity to sign up for other optional outings that may be of interest to them. Examples of activities that may be offered during stays include:

Frequently asked questions
Does my child have to be enrolled for several weeks?
It is recommended to choose a stay of at least two weeks in order to gain a basic knowledge of the language and get the most out of the cultural experience and classroom learning. The weekly schedules are designed to offer a variety of workshops and cultural activities.
Do you offer a discount for families?
Yes, we offer a 25% discount for each additional child from the same family.
Are students supervised at all times?
Yes, they are under the constant supervision of energetic and experienced leaders, even in the residence. Our experienced teachers are also in the classrooms and participate in certain cultural workshops.
